Business Morshy

I have some exciting news today!

I have decided to look into getting some business cards printed for the blog... I know this all sounds majorly dramatic and I don't want you to think I am getting ideas above my station as i'm hardly a celebrity blogger at the moment!  Walking around the BNTM show on Sunday I had a few people asking me if I was a blogger (maybe it was the hat that gave the game away) and when I said yes they all asked me for my business card - and obviously I didn't have any!

I am not going to pound the streets on London handing out my business card to anyone that looks at me, but I think it'll make me look a lot more professional and will maybe open up some more avenues in relation to this blog.

Anyway, I have 2 choices that I worked on last night with my good friend Dan, and I want your opinions on them... Please please comment on this post instead of tweeting me as it's easier to have all your thoughts in one place instead of getting comments left right and centre on Twitter - I'd really appreciate your feedback!

Twitter Appeal

Just a quick one - a friend of mine was seriously injured in an accident on Thursday night, and is currently in ICU after having an operation on his spine as he has lost the use of his legs.  Obviously everyone that knows him is shocked and upset by this news, and we are all rooting for him to get better as we hope his situation might not be a permanent thing - We are all trying to get him trending on Twitter to cheer him up and show him how many people are supporting him - Please please RT any of my tweets containing the hashtag #getwellnickyboy or tweet this hashtag yourself.  I, along with all of Nicky's friends would really appreciate it & we are praying for him to be back on his feet soon.

Thanks everyone x

Weekend Love

I haven't done a personal blog post for a while, so thought i'd write something to interest the boys and stop me from being too boring!

I had a lovely weekend, pub with the girls on Friday night and then drove over to my sisters on Saturday to see her, my brother in law and my beautiful neice Tilly!  We went out shopping for some Christmas presents, then we got home and dressed Tilly up as a pumpkin (my idea) and then just had a chilled night watching X Factor and eating pizza and chocolate cake (made by my talented brother in law!)  Check out the picture of Tilly in her Halloween outfit, so cute!

Tilly the Pumpkin
So Sunday I got up and drove back to Essex and got ready as my friend Charlie had managed to snag some tickets to the Britain and Irelands Next Top Model Live show at the Excel.  I went with her and my friend Jo and we were fully committed to spending the afternoon wandering around.  They had some really good discounts on beauty and fashion there, I ended up getting some really good bargains.  I will do a big BNTML post later in the week, I can't do it now becuase...

MY LAPTOP IS BROKEN!  I am so distraught, every night for the last week I have attempted to fix my laptop myself but I just can't do it.  I am going to have to admit defeat and take it somewhere I think.  My followers on Twitter have been so helpful, trying to give me advice etc but I think I have to accept this is a job for a professional.  As soon as my laptop is nursed back to health and I can actually upload pictures to it from my camera i'll give you the full DL from the show on Sunday.

After the show we all went home and got ready and then hit our fave local hangout Nu Bar for the Garage Night they had on.  Nu Bar is based in Loughton and I go there a lot with my friends, it's one of my favourite places to go on a night out.  It's run by a guy called Adam who really is a great bar manager - his sole concern is making sure everyone has a good time and everything is running smoothly in the bar and as much as you don't really think about it, it does make a difference to your night out.  I always have a good night in Nu Bar, I got a booth there for my birthday in August and it was great - very drunken but great!  It's well worth clubbing together with a group of mates if you are thinking of going and getting a booth.  If anyone wants to check out Nu Bar you can look at their website here or check them out on twitter here.  For all you fame seekers out there too, it's regularly frequented by the stars of TOWIE - We are all used to them now so we aren't that bothered but if any of you want to catch a glimpse Nu Bar is totally the best place to go!  Anyway, on Sunday night we were all excited as we were totally reliving our youth - we aren't into Garage music now but we all grew up listening to it.  It was actually a really good night, the music was amazing and they had MC Creed turn up and perform - I was loving that!  I managed to get a picture of me with Creed but that is yet another picture that I can't get on my laptop as yet.

Anyway, that was my action packed fun filled weekend.  Fingers crossed the laptop is fixed soon, I hate having LOADS of things to blog about and having to wait!

UK Fashion Bible

Not sure if you are aware, but UK Fashion Bible are running a November competition to submit a blog entry to be used on their blog in December.

The aim is to go onto their website (Fashion Bible) and arrange an outfit using the items they sell on the site.  It's judged on the best 'party outfit' and as this is something I love doing, I thought i'd enter :)

Here is my entry:

Mesh Insert Body - £14
Spotty Shorts - £13.99
Suede Effect Ankle Boots - £28.99

First off, I would wear this outfit on a night out, but I would wear it with some Opaques.  I like this outfit because it's quite racy and revealing for a night out, without being too 'bare'.  I love the shorts, they jazz the outfit up a bit so it's not so plain, and the boots will add height (making your legs look slimmer in the shorts) and will be easy to walk in as they are wedged and not neck breaking heels!

To enter yourself just follow Uk Fashion Bible on Twitter at UKFashionBible and message them for more details.

Hope you like the outfit, would love to hear your comments!

Models Own Beetlejuice Collection

Just a quick one, i'm trying to post this before the countdown runs out (you'll understand what I mean when you continue reading!)

Models Own are releasing 5 new nail polishes this morning, labelled the ‘Beetlejuice Collection’.  The polishes are all made the same, 4 ‘pearlescent’ colours mixed together to create one shade.  You know those really expensive cars you see on Gran Tourismo that have the paint job where the colour changes in different lights?  Think that on your nails.

As you probably all know I am a huge fan of Models Own polish anyway, and these colours are amazing.  They have been running a countdown on the website until these become available and you’ll be pleased to know, they go on sale in approx 4 minutes!

Check out the link and if you get any let me know what colours you go for!  I would LOVE to purchase but I am desperately trying to save for my holiday so I can't really justify non-necesseties - Although as soon as I DO get my hands on some i’ll be posting a review !
